House and Workshop Ablaze in Ivano-Frankivsk Region on June 25
Two fires broke out in Prykarpattia on Thursday, June 25. A woodworking workshop caught fire in Polianytsia, while in Cherniiv a gas cylinder and kitchen caught fire.

On June 25 at 5:50 PM, a report came in about a fire in the village of Bystrytsia, in the Polianytsia territorial community of Nadvirna district. Rescuers discovered a fire on the roof of a two-story woodworking workshop. Firefighters battled the blaze for more than two hours. The fire was contained by 7:38 PM and fully extinguished by 8:31 PM, having spread across an area of 250 square meters.
Overnight, another fire broke out in a residential building in the village of Cherniiv, in the Ivano-Frankivsk territorial community. A gas cylinder and kitchen furniture caught fire in a kitchen area of 7 square meters. The report came in at 9:13 PM. Firefighters from the 1st State Fire and Rescue Unit and the Khryplyn Safety Center rushed to extinguish the flames. While putting out the fire, rescuers evacuated the gas cylinder, which helped prevent potentially serious consequences.
The causes of both fires are being determined by specialists.
